Karl Toon Posted December 14, 2022 Posted December 14, 2022 Hi, Can anyone tell me where I can find the .exe of the installed Affinity Desinger 2. I need to point at the Designer 2 .exe from Cartoon Animator 5 to use as my default graphics editor within it Quote
walt.farrell Posted December 14, 2022 Posted December 14, 2022 The information in either the first or the second post of this FAQ should let you accomplish that, @Macdonut. Karl Toon Posted December 14, 2022 Author Posted December 14, 2022 Thanks for that walt.farrell. Unfortunately, there is no windows alias for Designer 2 on my system. Not particularly liking the workaround. I'll just wait for the developers to fix it. Quote
Staff Patrick Connor Posted December 14, 2022 Staff Posted December 14, 2022 Yes, Serifs provide a simple AFLauncher.exe specifically for Affinity Designer 2 on Windows (like the Affinity Photo 2 one Walt pointed to) Quote Patrick Connor Serif Europe Ltd Latest V2 releases on each platform Help make our apps better by joining our beta program! Karl Toon Posted December 14, 2022 Author Posted December 14, 2022 No good for me, Patick Connor, but thanks anyway. I still have version 1 installed as well as version 2, so I'm not completely stuck. Just another thought on this subject, but it is also down to other softwares to be aware of this issue if they want to launch the new MS apps. Quote
