unable to use affinity designer after I bought it from Microsoft Store

Recommended Posts

I bought affinity designer in August of 2020 through Microsoft Store. I am trying to install and use it again but after I download it from Microsoft Store it asks me for a product key which I was never provided. I am logged into the same email as when I purchased designer through the store. I have proof of payment if needed, can someone please help me out

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

That really sounds like you downloaded from the Affinity Store, not the Microsoft Store. Only Affinity V1 downloads from Serif (Affinity Store) have or need Product Keys.

For downloading from the Microsoft Store, open the Store app on your Windows computer, and look in the Library (down on the lower-left side). You should find your previous purchases from the Microsoft Store listed there.
