bwana4swahili
Running the latest version of Affinity Photo on a Windows 10 desktop. When I try to stack 112 light subs using the New Astrophotography Stack tool it comes back with a cannot align images message. However, the New Stack tool works just fine BUT it did take a few hours to do the job. I tried to attach one of the files in the stack, a 227MB file, but your system wouldn't accept it. Staff Chris B Posted December 5, 2022 Staff Share Posted December 5, 2022 Hey bwana4swahili, Can you upload a few samples here please - https://www.dropbox.com/request/UB8JDK6klsagmd905uGA 227MB is quite large and stacking 112 at that size is going to take a while. Chances are it's running out of physical memory and using swap to process the stack which, on Windows will take an age. bwana4swahili
I don't have the internet bandwidth to upload large files. I'll just stay with Photoshop and PixInsight to align/stack astrophotography subs. bwa Chris B
