Abkürzungsverzeichnis

Guten Tag 

Für eine Dokumentation soll ich ein Abkürzungsverzeichnis erstellen. Dazu stellt sich mir die Frage, ob ich gewisse Wörter in alphabetischer Reihenfolge auf einem anderen Blatt auflisten kann?

Hi Lukas. There isn't a way to create a list of acronyms along with their definitions in Publisher. This is something you'll have to do manually.

There are workarounds but I don't think they're worth the trouble. For example, you could add an index entry to an acronym and give it a parent topic such as ABBR and a topic that includes the acronym and definition together, such as WHO - World Health Organization. Then when you generate your index you could cut out the ABBR topic section and paste that elsewhere, deleting the page numbers from that section. But the acronym list wouldn't be formatted the way it should and each time you updated the index it would be there so you'd eventually want to delete those index markers. I think it would be better to do it manually.

If you just want to find the acronyms you've used, there are grep searches you could perform to find acronyms with and without periods in them. You'd have to google for those grep patterns as I don't know them offhand.

Ergänzend zu MikeTO's Hinweisen auf begrenzte Möglichkeiten nur ein Hinweis auf die alphabetischen Sortier-Optionen in Affinity / Tabellen. zB:

Leider kann Affinity aber Tabellen nicht automatisch über mehrere Seiten verteilen, wie zB bei Fließtext mit automatischem Text-Fluss + automatischer Seiten-Ergänzung. Aber zur reinen Sortierung kann das Feature funktionieren. Mit entsprechender Formatierung könnte der sortierte Tabelleninhalt wiederum als Fließtext verwendet werden und die auto-Text-Fluss Optionen nutzen.

Klassischer Workaround:
Wenn Dein Dokument fertig ist, Text nach Word kopieren (ggf. liegt er da ja auch schon vor) -> Abkürzungsverzeichnis erstellen und wieder zurück damit nach Publisher.

 

 

Das nimmt Dir natürlich nicht die Arbeit die Abkürzungen in Word zu definieren.
Wenn Du kein Word besitzt, geht das auch mit OpenOffice oderLibreOffice (GIDF)

Good idea. I wish we had multiple indices in Publisher because then we wouldn't need to use Microsoft Word for this.
