There's a strange problem with these fonts.
GenEi Gothic N / 源暎ゴシックN
GenEi Gothic P / 源暎ゴシックP

Somehow only numbers are distorted only on Windows.
And it happens with only these traits.
Light, Semi Light, Bold, Semi Bold

You can obtain those fonts here.

I do not know much about CJK fonts or vertical fonts ...

The characters/glyphs inside the fonts look fine.
There are minor differences in figure heights for regular vs. half-width, but nothing like that in the image.
The 5,6, and 9 are definitely vertically distorted (not alternates, distorted).
Weird that is only those characters.

I think it is because the fonts are designed as vertical fonts, and the Affinity applications are having some issues with processing some of those vertical tables (VORG, vhea, vmtx), and some of the OpenType vertical features (vpal, etc.).

I have seen some CJK fonts which were designed as vertical-only that simply did not work in horizontal text.
But these look like they were designed for both horizontal and vertical.
So they should work.

Looks like a bug.
