HydroJLW Posted November 29, 2022 Posted November 29, 2022 Hi, As the title suggests, I am having a problem trying to delete single/selected cells from a table in Publisher - Is this possible? Can't seem to find a way to do it. (Currently using Affinity v1) Cheers, Jack Quote

No. You can delete rows or columns, but not single / selected cells. You can MERGE cells if this would be helpful. Why do you want to delete single cells? Can you please give us an example? Maybe there is another solution for your problem. Quote ---------- Windows 10 / 11, Complete Suite Retail and Beta

Thanks for the reply - I wanted to make an invoice template with the table containing all work info etc (across 4 columns), then a subtotal/total etc at the bottom, but only using 2 columns. Merge won't work I don't think, as I can't seem to remove the border for only that cell - is that possible? Otherwise, I will just have to make a separate table for the total etc and drag it into alignment with where I wanted it. Thanks. Quote
HydroJLW Posted November 29, 2022 Author Posted November 29, 2022 So I wanted to get rid of the highlighted cells... Quote

Yes, this is possible. Have a look at the Table panel. Mark the cell before and then click one of the icons where borders can be formatted / removed. Perfect! - Seems a strange way to get there, but I have essentially achieved what I wanted to with some fiddling! Thanks very much for the quick replies/help! Jack joe_l 1 Quote
Old Bruce Posted November 29, 2022 Posted November 29, 2022 Just to be clear. @joe_l's excellent solution is not actually removing the cells. Just their borders. Thanks @Old Bruce, yes, that's true - for my purposed that will be fine, as they won't be visible on the page once exported 👍 Quote
