000 Posted November 23, 2022 Posted November 23, 2022 When searching for ,glyph' in the help menu, the path to the Glyph Browser is shown as "Text -> Glyph Browser", which is wrong. I needs to show "Windows -> Text -> Glyph Browser" because the features has moved. Quote
MikeTO Posted November 23, 2022 Posted November 23, 2022 Hi Jens, this is correct and is the macOS standard. Compare this to Safari and you'll see the same thing. When searching for a menu command in a submenu, apps are supposed to show just the submenu name before the menu command. You can see this in apps like Safari and Pages. However, Affinity isn't doing it quite right - it should open the submenu for you and display that big arrow pointing at the command as shown in this example from Pages. Affinity doesn't open the submenu and doesn't show the big arrow. Dan C Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 Thanks for the clarification aboveĀ @MikeTO, however this behaviour is working as expected for me on both Ventura & Monterey within Publisher V2 - Can you please confirm for me, is this still not working correctly for you? Does this occur with specific search terms for you, or any search? Many thanks in advance! Quote

Hi Dan, I think I've figured it out but I was wrong that it wasn't highlighting the submenu, it just thought the submenu was in the upper-left corner of the screen. The screenshot below shows the arrow in the upper left. Just testing by typing the word glyph, the pattern for me is the first time I type it the arrow is in the upper left but on subsequent uses (until the Help menu is closed) it will be in the correct location. Thanks for the further clarification - I've been able to replicate this here and I've logged it with the team MikeTO 1 Quote
