Alexandre Valensi
Hey everyone ! How are you doing ? I'm currently using the V2 of the Affinity softwares (Publisher, Photos and Designer) and I see a little crash when I'm offline without internet when I would like search of Pixabay or Pexels photos, the apps crash. Don't forget to save your files in case off V2.1 ?
jmwellborn
@Alexandre Valensi I have just stumbled across your post. You are correct about saving files. Actually it is an excellent recommendation no matter what we are doing. It spares us many a headache. Dan C
Hi @Alexandre Valensi, Thanks for your report and our sincerest apologies for the delayed response here. We are exceptionally busy following the release of V2 and we thank you for your continued patience and understanding here. I have tested this here using the latest update (2.0.4) and I see 'Connection Error' in the Stock Studio when searching without internet, and the app remains open for me. Can you please try this again for me and let me know if this issue has also been resolved on your end?

Dan C
Thanks for letting me know! I've tested this again on my iMac within the office this morning and I've now been able to replicate this crash here - I'm not sure why I wasn't seeing this issue on my mac mini yesterday - but I'll be sure to log this as a bug with our developers now. Many thanks for your report once again

Many thanks for your report once again I have test offline the stock section and it's crashing, when I'm put some words I'm using the V2.0.3 😁 you could put a error message about the internet connection to avoid bad UX Dan C
Dan C
Thanks for confirming that for me! 12 minutes ago, Alexandre Valensi said: you could put a error message about the internet connection to avoid bad UX I have also requested this within the bug report, as Windows provides a 'Connection Failed' message, which I believe should also be shown on macOS/iPadOS when the same criteria is met
Alexandre Valensi
Yes indeed @Dan C when I'm using my Windows PC they're is a message about no "connection internet" you should do the same thing to Mac users Dan C
