@Alexandre Valensi  I have just stumbled across your post.  You are correct about saving files.  Actually it is an excellent recommendation no matter what we are doing.  It spares us many a headache.

Hi @Alexandre Valensi,

Thanks for your report and our sincerest apologies for the delayed response here. We are exceptionally busy following the release of V2 and we thank you for your continued patience and understanding here.

I have tested this here using the latest update (2.0.4) and I see 'Connection Error' in the Stock Studio when searching without internet, and the app remains open for me.

Can you please try this again for me and let me know if this issue has also been resolved on your end? :)

Thanks for letting me know!

I've tested this again on my iMac within the office this morning and I've now been able to replicate this crash here - I'm not sure why I wasn't seeing this issue on my mac mini yesterday - but I'll be sure to log this as a bug with our developers now.

Many thanks for your report once again :)

Maybe since it's a "little crash". - BTW I realy like such classifications like "little-, soft-, deep-, hard-crash" etc.

Though hard crash(es) are always a bad thing in general here, especially if they look like this here ...

☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan
☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.2

I have test offline the stock section and it's crashing, when I'm put some words I'm using the V2.0.3 😁 you could put a error message about the internet connection to avoid bad UX ;-)

Thanks for confirming that for me!

I have also requested this within the bug report, as Windows provides a 'Connection Failed' message, which I believe should also be shown on macOS/iPadOS when the same criteria is met :)
