Alex_M
Hi, Sometimes converting my documents from 8-bit to 16-bit causes some mask layers to break. This doesn't happen with V1 of Affinity Photo, only with V2. Please check the video below. I can send you the files if you need them, but I can only do so privately. converting_to_16-bit_breaks_masks.mp4 Quote Affinity Photo 2.4.2 for Windows ◾ OS: Windows 10 Pro x64 ver. 22H2 ◾ CPU: AMD Ryzen 7950X 16-core ◾ RAM: 64 GB DDR5-6400 ◾ GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 3090 Suprim X 24GB / driver 526.98 ◾ NVMe SSD Samsung 980 Pro 1 TB ◾ Monitors: 2x Eizo ColorEdge CS2420 24"
Staff Chris B Posted November 30, 2022 Staff Share Posted November 30, 2022 Hey Alex_M, I'm struggling to reproduce from scratch. It must be a combination of the layers. Does this happen if you start from a 16-bit document or only after the conversion? Here's a private Dropbox link - https://www.dropbox.com/request/k5nTjglV9kxWDnTKYD5w Please @ me when it's done as I do not get notifications from Dropbox.
