eoaaeo Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 Hi dear I report this issue, when I need to correct alens fisheye effect after made panorama pic, in DEVELOP PERSONA (PERSONA SVILUPPO in ITALIAN version) AP doesn't make any preview. Instead in perspective adjust, it's veeery slow to show, meanwhile on V1 same file are both immediate. Check please and Thanks to the support. Quote
walt.farrell Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 As you're on Windows, please check something. In V1, in Preferences, Performance, do you have Hardware Acceleration (OpenCL) enabled? Next, please check in V2. V2 will enable Hardware Acceleration in some cases where V1 will keep it disabled. If it is off in V1, but on in V2, please disable it in V2 and see if that helps fix this problem. Thanks. eoaaeo Posted November 17, 2022 Author Posted November 17, 2022 @walt.farrell They hardware acceleration are in both software disable. The setting are exactly the same in mine V1 and V2 V1 setting V2 setting As you can see are the same Quote
walt.farrell Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 Thanks. It looks like they are enabled in both. So that should not be a factor in your problem. eoaaeo Posted November 17, 2022 Author Posted November 17, 2022 Exactly. The preview is fast and imeddiate in V1 never previewed in V2. I dunnow why but today is working. Sounds like some Win11 bug maybe or a lags of memory, but yesterday was working on V1 and not on V2 mine Lap is a DEll inspiron 16plus Quote
ruwi Posted November 18, 2022 Posted November 18, 2022 Same on Windows 10. Lens correction preview working in v1 but not v2.0.0. It's not only the preview that is not shown. The image remains unchanged if lens profile is checked and develop persona's "develop" button was pressed after lens correction's slider values were changed. I am always using jpg images. v2 lens profiles were taken from v1 as far as I remember. Manual workaround: Corrections are applied in case you uncheck the lens profile. Quote
Staff stokerg Posted November 30, 2022 Staff Posted November 30, 2022 Hi @eoaaeo, Thanks for reporting this. I've just logged this with the Dev team. You should also notice moving the sliders on the Lens Correction panel also has no effect on the image. We are also aware of lagging on Windows in certain workflows, mainly when using RAW files but this is also logged with the Dev team to resolve. The sliders are working for me on the Lens Correction dialog on Mac but it doesn't appear to be working when i select a Profile from the list. Quote
