Nik Collection 4 problem with Affinity Photo 2

I can successfully launch, e.g., Viveza 3, from Affinity Photo 2.
But when I click save, it takes forever and never successfully save the modified image back to to Affinity Photo 2. 

It's on M1 mac, macOS 12.6.1

Same problem here with silver efex (nik v4) and Affinity Photo 2 (trial). Works fine with Affinity Photo v1.

Same problem with silver efex v 3. Works with Affinity Photo 1.10.5 on a Mac. The options to "cancel" or "apply" no longer are available in Affinity Photo 2. Using "save" doesn't work

I updated to version 5 and silver Efex works fine. The update is on sale for half price.

Mac OS 12.6.1 / intel imac / Nik Collection 4 / APv2

same problem as above - when called from AP2 silver efex opens as standalone app with no save/accept option to return the image to AP (in fact don't seem to be able to do anything with the Silver Efex image after editing)

Same problem occurs with Viveza (which I don't use often). No problems with other Nik apps.

(seem to remember this also used to be an early problem in v1 which was fixed ?)

 Nik4 works ok on APv1 (but cannot open an afphoto v2 image back in APv1 as a temp fix).

Unfortunately only the NIK collection 5 is compatible with Affinity V2 at this time, my apologies.

But if you can get the old Google NIK collection or still have it on your system, that version does work with AP V2, at least on my Mac.
