I noticed something weird when merging layers that contain live filters.

I had two layers. Top layer was set to negate blending mode and the lower layer had a blur live filter.

If I select both layers and merge them the appearance of the composition changes drastically.

I had to rasterize each layer separately and then merge them. I guess that is not how they are intended to work IDK...

I just run a quick test and this happens regardless of blending mode.

Put a gaussian blur on lower layer, blend with top layer in normal mode.

Merge both layers appearance changes.

Hi @DGee,

Could you possibly provide us with a sample file where you encounter this problem and advise which layers need to be merged in order to encounter the problem? I can provide a private dropbox link if required.

Many thanks in advance!
