Pool Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 Guys, come on. You already have anchors. You already have hyperlinks to anchors. PLEASE give us the ability to insert the page number of an anchor and have it update when we rearrange pages. This is vital for creating hard copy reference manuals. I really hoped this would be included in V2 but I'm looking around and I can't find a way to do it. I don't want to do the "two frame/next frame page" method anymore, especially when I have literally dozens of references to make, per page, through a book that's over a hundred pages long. If there's a way to do this now, please let me know. If there isn't, please, PLEASE add it in. MikeTO and PeterYC 2 Quote
Pool Posted October 7, 2023 Author Posted October 7, 2023 I just finished going through our manual, updating all our page references with the new system and I just wanted to say THANK YOU for implementing this feature. It's absolutely brilliant! Dan C and AccydentalArtyst 2 Quote
Vosje Posted March 27 Posted March 27 Hi, I see that you were able to solve your problem, but I can't figure it out! Would you mind sharing HOW you can create a dynamic page number pointing to a selected block of text? Thanks! Quote

(Add an anchor at the block of text and) insert a cross reference to an anchor / paragraph / index mark where you need it in the document. https://affinity.help/publisher2/English.lproj/pages/Advanced/aboutCrossrefs.html Is it this you are looking for?
