And regarding to that, I want to know what is the last date to purchase it on the discounted price offer, which is currently there on the single app purchase?

Currently there is a 40% discount  always in november because of black friday i think, its applies when you are new customer you get the 40% discount and when you already had purchased V1 before you can upgrade for an even better discount, doesnt matter on which device, its really easy, just wanted to let you know, because i had the similar question. I bought v2 today, used v1 for a long time.
