Redphoenix
Hey This is a fairly simple request: Please dont lock the max size of glows... Especially not a.) with a slider that goes to 100px max, and a max manual input of 1024px. I need to create a glow thats very faint, but should be approx 2500px wide - but I cant. GarryP
Can you give an example which shows why you would need a glow with a radius of 2500px? Note: You can get a larger glow radius by scaling the layer down, setting “Scale with Object” ON in the Effects Panel, and then scaling the layer back up to the original size. See attached image. NotMyFault
Just out of curiosity : on iPad, numeric input is not capped. Interesting platform difference. Redphoenix
Sure - This is for Game Art, so please bear with me: We need a huge background mask that we use in a specific ingame shader. Since the scale of that texture in the game world is VERY large, we need the texture to be quite big, thats why we use a 4096px² size for it (in the long run this is going to replaced with a different system) But now while writing this I have realized that I was completely off anyway - since I can just make it in 1024px and save in 4096 as I work in vectors. Mea culpa, I'm going to dig a hole for myself. In any case, what @GarryP as a workaround suggested, works
GarryP
Thanks for the explanation. (I don’t understand all of it, but someone else will.) Redphoenix
