pioneer
Good morning. Is there an A4 template within the program that can be used as an A5 booklet for print such as was in PagePlus please? In PagePlus I used to be able to display pages in multi view, is there a feature in publisher to replicate this that I have not found so far please? Quote AMD Ryzen 7 5800 X. PaulEC
There are few ready made templates in Publisher. Just use facing pages and scroll though them to view the publication. Then print as a booklet. pioneer 1 Quote Acer XC-895 : Core i5-10400 Hexa-core 2.90 GHz : 32GB RAM : Intel UHD Graphics 630 : Windows 10 Home Affinity Publisher 2 : Affinity Photo 2 : Affinity Designer 2 : (latest release versions) on desktop and iPad "Beware of false knowledge, it is more dangerous than ignorance." Of course, you're quite right! (I've edited my post.) The silly thing is that I originally changed my post to say use single pages, because, when I was printing booklets at work, rather than printing directly from APub I always used to export as a PDF, then print booklets from Acrobat. pioneer 1 Quote Acer XC-895 : Core i5-10400 Hexa-core 2.90 GHz : 32GB RAM : Intel UHD Graphics 630 : Windows 10 Home Affinity Publisher 2 : Affinity Photo 2 : Affinity Designer 2 : (latest release versions) on desktop and iPad "Beware of false knowledge, it is more dangerous than ignorance." Yes, this is a preferred workflow for some users when the settings in Acrobat are familiar, because the print options in Affinity are somewhat confusing, limited or failing. But also for this workflow it was and is not necessary nor recommended or useful to convert the Affinity layout document from double page spreads to single pages, but just to export as a single page PDF and use this for booklet printing. This way you avoid manipulation of layout elements that span two pages of a double-page spread while switching in APub to a single-page layout document would destroy the layout for those elements.
