Issues with Designer After Update

I have been using Designer with my iPad 10.5” that runs iPadOS 15.3.1. I just got an M2 iPad with iPadOS 16.1. I’ve noticed the following issues:

-Selecting an object with Move moves the object slightly 

-Art text has no keyboard popup

-I can’t select one part of a grouped object using Move, I have to go through the layers tab

Are these things normal and I have to get used to it, or did I upgrade too soon and it’s not supported yet? Thank you for any help.

1. Try turning off hover preview effects on pencil settings as it has been reported it causes problems with the Affinity apps which do not yet support this feature. 

2. May be related to 1, or do you have a hardware Keyboard connected? or scribble turned on? If so Turn off scribble.

3. Check 'Edit all layers' is enabled

The issue with the artistic text keyboard not popping up appears to be caused by using the Apple pencil to draw out and type into the frame. The other issues relate to the Pencil Hover feature, which is not yet supported and causes problems as Paul mentioned.

Both have now been logged with the developers for resolution. 🙂

Turning off hover allows me to edit groups so that fixes issue 3, thank you. Turning off scribble didn’t change anything. No keyboard or accessories other than the pencil are connected.
