Affinity Rat
I like to open my files via the file manager because I want to know where it is being saved, not like Affinity products that hide that information behind almost useless built in image browser. When I attempt to open an afphoto file it opens in ADez not APho. I suppose a reinstall is again the mo to solve.
Staff Dan C Posted September 28, 2022 Staff Share Posted September 28, 2022 Hi @Affinity Rat, I can confirm this is a known iOS issue, which isn't specific to the Affinity apps. On iOS, when installing an application which can handle a specific file format, such as .afphoto, the most recent application installed will become the default opening app for this format. This is controlled by iOS and not Affinity, and affects other apps that can open .PSD files, for example. If you press and hold on the .afphoto file, you should see the option to open it in Photo, rather than Designer - I hope this helps! Affinity Rat
Ok thanx, the share option permits use of APho to open .afphoto in lieu of the default ADez.
