MartinMHC
I have a pixel layer that I've pasted from an external image into a group, I now need to resize the pixel layer to fit as I want it, but I can't resize it the option isn't available. I can't resterize the layer and I don't know what else to do with it. How can I fix this? images of issue to follow:
Old Bruce
Try using the Move tool. The arrow, shortcut on Mac is "v" most likely the same with Windows. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
Ron P.
By your screenshot it appears that your image is a Child of the Rectangle. So you might try checking the Lock Children box on the Context Toolbar. You need to have the Rectangle Group selected in the Layers Panel to have that option available. Then like Old Bruce posted, using the Move Tool you should be able to resize it. Quote Affinity Photo 2.4..; Affinity Designer 2.4..; Affinity Publisher 2.4..; Affinity2 Beta versions. Sorry to clarify, the usual method of moving pasted objects is to use the move tool, yes. That is the tool selected when this screenshot is taken. Strangely, I wrote this post before closing the image, and then reopening the .afphoto image just now, the layer moves and behaves as expected; in the previous session I had been doing a LOT of copy/paste and multi-layer construction work on the image (not sure if that would have factored into it)

Yes this looks like the sort of thing that might have happened. I can't see the Lock Children option anywhere, and I had looked previously and had de-selected these sort of things when loooking around before posting the query. So here's a screenshot. It allows you move, resize, contents (images, shapes, ect) inside a group. In the screen shot I have clipped (nested) the image inside a rectangle. The rectangle and image are grouped. On the right end of the Context toolbar is the Lock Children option.
