Opacity variance applied to vector brush stroke is not exporting properly to PDF.
When applying transparency to the same stroke with transparency tool it is correct.

Publisher 1.10.5

Same issue in Designer too.

Hi Zebulon,

Can i ask which PDF export preset you are using?

I'm not able to reproduce the same issue myself with the "PDF for print" preset in either Designer or Publisher.

What method are you using to create this stroke?

If I edit the stroke gradient, it's not showing as a gradient and only as a fill, once I edit it and create my own gradient it resolves the issue.

Is it pasted from designer?

Its a stroke. I applied "pressure" curve to it

and after that "opacity variance" based on pressure. (See screenshot in fist post). Its created in Publisher.

ah yes sorry my mistake, I see, this is a previously reported bug and should hopefully be resolved soon, the curves opacity is not supported in PDF but it should be rasterising. You can manually rasterise beforehand as a workaround.

Interestingly it also exports at the average width from the pressure curve.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
