Library app, please

Recommended Posts

This is from a very happy user of Affinity Photo!  But what I really miss is something like the cataloguing / library functionality of Adobe Bridge, Photoshop Elements etc.  I don't really want to use Adobe Bridge, having been glad to escape Adobe's clutches when I made the switch to Affinity.  But I find that trying to select images in Windows or Google Drive is laborious and, of course, I can't see comments, stars or anything apart from the file name, date & file size.

Even if Affinity Library were a standalone app, linked to Affinity Photo, Designer & Publisher but purchased separately, that would suit me.  Is such a thing in development?  If not, it's Adobe Bridge for me, sadly.  But definitely not back to Photoshop or Lightroom!  😀

Hi @BrianL

There are so many free alternatives. Serif is not going to burn capital developing another tool.

Why should you keep coming back to Photoshop? Like APhoto, it's a photo editor, not a catalog (DAM), and going back to it wouldn't do you any good (comments, star).
