Hi there,

first:

is the "layout area for data sets" always necessary (even if I only want to print something on a single sheet)?

2nd:

Is there a way to query conditions, for example if a value is true to show a certain graphic and otherwise another?

1. No, you can insert available fields also in normal floating text

2. No. I think this was already a feature request.

Only in the spreadsheet or database. Not in Publisher.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
