Hi all, I have four pages, the paragraphs highlighted on all four pages to change to a paragraph style of 10 pt font. The font changes to 10 pt on the first two and then 1.2 on the next two pages. Then if I change the font on the second pages to 10, it blows up the font on the other pages to 82. Any ideas? Apologies for the bad photos.  image.png.d1007769d312b26ef94030ade893526e.pngimage.png.8225f234854ce3046f710ef423268ad3.png

I'm not sure what's causing the issue, but you could try selecting all effected text and reapplying the text or base styles. Navigate to: Text > Reapply Text Styles, or Text > Reapply Base Styles. That may clear it up. Reapplying styles will remove any changes you've made to the text, like bold, tracking, etc., so unless you're working with Text Styles, you may need to go back and reapply text formatting if there was any.

Possibly you have resized a text frame with its outer bottom right handle which scales the frame's contents, too.

Or the frames come from an IDML where frames can carry such a confusing, hidden font size information in their upper left corner left of the first character.

In both cases the fastest fix would be to detect the affected frame and delete / replace it by a new one.
