Hello!

Does somebody know how to achieve the painting Airbrush effect (like 80s/90s illustration)? I attach some examples here in the post.

I have both AD and AP, I was wondering to create line with vectors and coloring with a pixel level but happy to hear your opinions.

Thanks!

Not being glib at all when I say Practice. *

Your idea about lines (or shapes) in vector and then 'painting' on a pixel layer is how I would do this. And my results would be quite bad, even with more practice.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

If you don’t mind spending a few dollars/pounds/euros, you might find it helpful to purchase a brush pack such as Texturizer Pro from Frankentoon Studio.
