Simon Thorpe
Hi, is there a shortcut for drawing only horizontal/vertical lines please? This is for technical/schematic drawings. I see there is one for iPad but I am on a macbook. Thanks
Staff Lee D Posted June 8, 2022 Staff Share Posted June 8, 2022 Hi @Simon Thorpe, welcome to the forums. You can hold the Shift key when using the Pen Tool, this will create straight lines, you get a yellow line indicate showing where the line will be, horizontal, vertical etc.
emmrecs01
@Lee D Hi Lee I may be completely missing something here, but where is the Shift key on an iPad? Staff Lee D Posted June 8, 2022 Staff Share Posted June 8, 2022 A little confusion there on my part 😉
emmrecs01
@Lee D Thanks for the latest message, but I'm not the OP! I have Designer and Photo on both desktop and iPad and I suppose, a) I didn't read the OP's post carefully enough, and b) I don't know how to draw a straight line (as per the OP's request) on the iPad.
