NotMyFault
Hi, a added a group containing fill layer, add noise, and more blur filters and contrast adjustment to create a grainy salt structure. Then I tried to remove darker parts with help of blend range. In blend Mode „pass through“, the expected effect is visible in all other blend modes, blend range show no effect at all. By Design or bug or something else? below: passthrough, result as expected below: bm normal with blend options set, unexpected result below: bm normal, base case Quote Mac mini M1 A2348 | Windows 10 - AMD Ryzen 9 5900x - 32 GB RAM - Nvidia GTX 1080 LG34WK950U-W, calibrated to DCI-P3 with LG Calibration Studio / Spider 5 iPad Air Gen 5 (2022) A2589 Special interest into procedural texture filter, edit alpha channel, RGB/16 and RGB/32 color formats, stacking, finding root causes for misbehaving files, finding creative solutions for unsolvable tasks, finding bugs in Apps. Staff NathanC Posted June 8, 2022 Staff Share Posted June 8, 2022 Thanks for sending over the file, There's an issue currently logged with the developers which relates to some of the live filters stopping the blend ranges from working correctly, when I removed the Unsharp Mask/Maximum Blur filters from the group this caused the blend options to start working again, I've added your example for consideration.
