NotMyFault Posted June 7, 2022 Posted June 7, 2022 Hi, a added a group containing fill layer, add noise, and more blur filters and contrast adjustment to create a grainy salt structure. Then I tried to remove darker parts with help of blend range. In blend Mode „pass through“, the expected effect is visible in all other blend modes, blend range show no effect at all. By Design or bug or something else? below: passthrough, result as expected below: bm normal with blend options set, unexpected result below: bm normal, base case Goodby Forum, thanks for good discussion and so much support from great peers and Affinity staff. Staff NathanC Posted June 8, 2022 Staff Posted June 8, 2022 Thanks for sending over the file, There's an issue currently logged with the developers which relates to some of the live filters stopping the blend ranges from working correctly, when I removed the Unsharp Mask/Maximum Blur filters from the group this caused the blend options to start working again, I've added your example for consideration.
