mate64
Hello. I have quite complicated texts converted into curves. I have to get one curve from them for use on a cutting plotter, but unfortunately when I use the Add gemetry operation, I get the result as shown in the attached picture. What am I doing wrong and how to solve this problem?
telemax
Hi, Try a non-destructive boolean. Hold down the Alt key before the boolean operation. iconoclast 1 Quote Non-destructive Mask https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/150439-non-destructive-mask/Image layer & Pixel layer https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/146720-image-layer-and-pixel-layer/Brushes | Stars https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/135202-brushes-stars/
v_kyr
Another way, instead of ADe boolean operations and using the right winding settings is, to trace the whole then with an external tracing tool. sample-trace.afdesign Quote ☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan ☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.
mate64
Telemax, Probably this resolve my problem. Thanks v_kyr I have ~800 files to do, so I don't have time manualy export, trace and import files again.
