Recommended Posts

I have a clients publisher document and they have <section name> in master page. When i insert a new page with this master the section name is populated with 'Introduction'

This is something i havent come across and cant work out how it is done

It sounds like they have used the functionality of the Fields Panel, or menu “Text → Insert → Fields”.
The <Section Name> field on the master page will be replaced the name of the section on the ‘real’ page.
Look at the documentation in the Help about the Section Manager too.

The "<section name>" is probably a Field, added from the Fields panel.

The substitution occurs because in the Section Manager there's a section defined, with a name of "Introduction".

You can change the name (using the Section Manager) from Introduction to empty space by deleting the word Introduction.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
