grzesek Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 Hello, I'd like to export slices in specified resolution, for example 1080x1080. How to do it if my artboard and slice is 1800x1800? I'd like to add also some details within artboard. Is it possible to export with export persona and slices it with one click in 1080x1080? Quote
walt.farrell Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 In the Slices panel there's a field that starts out saying 1x for the size. If you click the pulldown you'll get examples of some other things you can say there. You could say, for example, 1080w, 1080h. grzesek 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. grzesek Posted May 28, 2022 Author Posted May 28, 2022 @walt.farrell it was easy! Thanks Is it possible to save export 1080w as default? walt.farrell 1 Quote
GarryP Posted May 28, 2022 Posted May 28, 2022 I don’t think there’s a way to set a default width but you can use the Copy/Replace functionality via the icons at the top-right of the Slices Panel. Select the ‘donor’ export option – not the slice which contains the export option – press the Copy button, then select the ‘recipient’ export option – again, not the slice – and press the Replace button. (Or you can use the “Add” button to create a new export option instead of replacing an existing one.) grzesek 1 Quote

GarryP Posted May 28, 2022 Posted May 28, 2022 That's great - good catch. Now I just have to learn how to use them myself. Thanks for mentioning it – I hope it will help others too. Quote

Just create an export setup different from any of the defaults, choose the create option from the menu, & give it a name. Then, the next time you want to use it with any other document, you can choose it from the Export Preset: popup menu in the Slices panel, where it will appear below the built-in presets.
