Snoogens
Hi, I have created a new file with transparent background and imported a 2-color Logo (.png). (I'm using a MacBook Pro M1, not sure if that matters) this Logo is designed for a bright background (Black and purple), but now I want to change its color to white so I can use it on a dark background. I chose the filler tool and can choose all colors on the wheel, but when I move to white it just stays gray scale. How can I just make it completely white? Oh, and of course I'm new to this software, but I guess that's clear now Thanks in advance!
GarryP
Where did you get the logo from, and do you have permission to modify it?

I used an online logo creator, modified a template, paid money and downloaded it for use in my company. So yes, I gave me permission to modify it GarryP

Thanks for clarifying that. I only asked as we have had people come to the forums wanting to know how to modify logos that they didn’t have permission to modify, so I thought it wise to ask, just in case. Is there some reason why you can’t go back to where you created the logo from the template and set the colour to be white there? As an alternative for recolouring the logo, you might be interested in the Recolour Adjustment. See my attached example where I have, on the right, used the Recolour Adjustment with the Lightness at 100% to recolour the whole logo as white. I thought so, no worries 29 minutes ago, GarryP said: Is there some reason why you can’t go back to where you created the logo from the template and set the colour to be white there? Yes, I would have to pay money for it again. I chose the color and then got all kinds of formats for download, white background or transparent and got a greyscale version as well. That's it. Before paying I thought to try it with Affinity, I really like it and recently started working with it. Thank you for the advice and the image! How do I get to "Recolour Adjustment"? Snoogens
Sorry for the funny question, my interface looks a little bit different. Not sure if it is because of different OS or something.
Ron P.
Are you using Affinity Photo or Designer? I ask because the UI for each app are the same in Windows and Mac (Except Designer does not have an Adjustment Studio). GarryP's screenshot is of Photo on Windows. The Recolor Adjustment can be accessed by; Clicking on the Adjustment Layer Icon at the bottom of the Layers Panel. It's a half-shaded circle. Using the Adjustment Panel (studio) Layer menu>New Adjustment Layer Quote Affinity Photo 2.4..; Affinity Designer 2.4..; Affinity Publisher 2.4..; Affinity2 Beta versions. I just played with it and found exactly that menu, but the "lightness" didn't work, instead I went to "HSL" and moved "Luminosity Shift" to 100%, that seemed to work! I'm going to try that logo now on my website on a dark background and see how it goes.
