alex83270
Hello Affinity ! I post a topic here because in Affinity (Publisher, Photo and Designer) I have a little issue but still really annoying. My issue is I use FontBase as font manager, and only with this current computer (I don't know why...) I've an issue with fonts like Roboto which I use pretty often. The problem is Roboto has only 12 version which seems to work in other software (like wordpad, word, libre office...) but strangely, in Affinity I've like 40 versions and some aren't correct (like Regular and Light versions seems to be switched). I tried to reset all my Affinity's settings, to uninstall FontBase, Affinity, to update them. I also tried to uninstall fonts for my system (if somehow they were use in Fontbase but also installed in Windows) and I tried to clear the font's cache with some tutos on the net. Of course I still can use Affinity suite, but it would really be better if I can solve this problem that I tried to search on the net. Thanks you ! Kind regards, Alexis L. Komatös
Hello @alex83270and welcome to the forums. Maybe you have the variable Font installed? This type of fonts are not supported from the Affinity programmes. Rick G
I use font base too. What you MAY have to do is remove the folder that has Rooto in it from the Fontbase interface. Then go to the Fontbase fonts folder and make sure it is gone from there Then add the folder back into Fontbase after making sure the original folder does not have Roboto duplicates alex83270 1 Quote Affinity Designer 2.2.2075 & beta 2.3.1.2212 Affinity Photo 2.2.2075 beta 2.3.1.2212Affinity Publisher 2.2.2075 & beta 2.3.1.2212 Windows 11 Pro Version 22H2 OS build 22621.1928 Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700 CPU @ 2.90GHz 2.90 GHz Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable) System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

I don't really know, I've the basic Roboto font and it's weird because it works well with my 2 others PC with the same workflow... 16 hours ago, Rick G said: I use font base too. It works ! I deleted the font by FontBase, deleted the left one font by a command with the terminal, downloaded and past them in the Google Folder and it works well now ! Thank you and have a nice week end ❤️ Rick G and Komatös
