Ciordia9
Working on a hard bound full color book for a client that is looking to turn this 8x10 into eBook formats. I don't see a path forward at the moment. Searches here come up pretty limited, web searches say to copy/paste to Word..... Reddit's got nothing yet.. There has to be some workflow for doing this and please don't say export to PDF because that hard sets margins and creates basically a flip image book. thomaso
Hi @Ciordia9, Welcome to the Affinity forums! There are various file formats called "eBook" , as for instance compared in this Wikipedia article. Currently Affinity doesn't offer the export as literally eBook but PDF only. There exists a feature request for the .EPUB format which you might want to read or just add your vote: thetasig 1 Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1

Well, that brings me up to date and.. well... ok.. heheh! I guess I have a few choices to make. I'm still early enough if I can get the editor to keep a few things in mind I'll just dual build in Jutoh or rebuild in Scrivener. Or I might go grab a copy of ID and slam it in there and deal with a known cleanup. It really shouldn't be this cumbersome. 🤷🏼

Even Amazon is abandoning its proprietary formats (such as MOBI) and moving to ePub. Personally, I do not feel that PDF is an eBook. It's electronic, but it is page-oriented. eBooks are reflowable.
