Layer Effects and Styles change when applied to different objects

Recommended Posts

When pasting a layer effect from one object to another or applying a style to an object or group, the sliders slightly change. For example, I have a saved style that adds a simple custom Outer Shadow to a group. When I apply that style to any group, the radius slider is different from one group to the next.

I'm unsure if this is a bug or user error. Please help

And I have never noticed this before. Happens here on Mac OS 11.6.5

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.5.5 | Affinity Photo 2.5.5 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Hi @Muscolino,

I can confirm this issue has been previously been logged with the developers for resolution. This issue will typically occur when pasting fx/styles onto objects which have a different size compared to the original copied source even with 'Scale with object' unticked.
