Is there a 'crop to content'

Thats it.  I know there is the cropping tool, but is there the faster tool to just click the layer and it will crop to content?

Ill look at that, thank you.  Well, instead of manually, dragging the edges of the crop tool around the object, is there a tool that just does that?   click the object, go to layer and click 'crop to content'.     Many objects i bring in have a lot of transparency around them.  Its tiresome to use the crop tool to remove it. shrugs.

If you can make a selection of your desired object, then:

1. Make the selection.
2. Copy this selection.
3. File > New from Clipboard

Or you may find that:

1. Make the selection.
2. Duplicate the Layer (should duplicate the selection).

will do what you want.
