Request: Configurable Autosave function


Recommended Posts

Rather than relying on autosave, do a manual save after any significant edits (regardless of whether that’s thirty minutes after the last save, or just thirty seconds). This means that you save when it’s convenient for you, and it affords you the opportunity to save incremental versions so that you have a ‘last good save’ to which you can revert if a later version becomes corrupted.

You can configure it down as low as 30 seconds, but i wouldn't recommend doing that:

I would manually save after significant amounts of work. Or better, I would probably periodically use Save As and a new name.
