Westlake Posted February 12, 2022 Posted February 12, 2022 I am using an HDR Merge on a 360º panorama, with 5 source images at different aperture settings. As the merge is taking place, the first image appears and is the right size (5760x2880), but by the time the merge is done, the image is square. It worked as expected yesterday. Any solutions appreciated! Quote
John Rostron Posted February 13, 2022 Posted February 13, 2022 Are your five 360° panoramas all exactly the same size and do they have exactly the same content? If you intend to HDR merge, you should avoid changing aperture, or iso. Instead, modify exposure time, or add a light source to darker parts. It could become impossible to align images if aperture or focus is not constant. You may get better results when disabling alignment. Westlake Posted February 15, 2022 Author Posted February 15, 2022 Yes, the photos are all the same size and the camera was on a tripod which didn't move, but I found that I had accidentally included a photo of the same room but taken 180º different, which confused both Affinity photo and me! Sorry to bother everyone. Thanks for the answers John Rostron and NotMyFault! NotMyFault and John Rostron 2 Quote
