LaraJ
Hi, I have a yellow rectangle and on top of it several circles (blue stroke, transparent fill) that are bigger than the rectangle and I'd like to only keep the part of the circles that fits into the rectangle. I tried intersecting the two using Geometry, but they both disappear. What am I missing? How can this be accomplished? Thanks!
Old Bruce
Like this? I duplicated the yellow rectangle and used it to clip the grouped items. LaraJ
@Old Bruce yes, that's the effect. Except that I'm trying to accomplish this in Publisher so what's left of the circles stays as vectors.
Old Bruce
That is all vectors. The bits left are just visible parts of the still existing entire circles. 4567.afpub Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4 Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear. LaraJ
Cool! Thank you! You used 'Mask to Below' to do this, right?

No. I used the Layers panel and physical dragged the rectangle into position. The ‘Intersect’ command leaves you with only the overlapping parts of the selected shapes.
