For the first time I am trying out Publisher with my monthly newsletter. Everything was going fine until after I wanted to insert a hyperlink to be included in one of the text boxes. I went to Interactive/Insert Hyperlink and typed in the one I wanted to include.

From that time on all my type styles were converted to the Hyperlink format, that is blue in colour and underlined. The worst thing about it was that I was completely stopped from amending any of these styles to what they should have been.

I attach the publisher file in the hope that a) Someone will tell me what I did wrong and b) more importantly, tell me how I can put it right, or better still tell me how to avoid it happening again.

Thanks

John

Try selecting the text frame and applying the [no style] Character Style instead of the Hyperlink Character Style.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Are you wanting to change the actual Character Style so the hyperlinks won't be blue and underlined? Or are you wanting to get rid of the Blue Underline on the Text I have indicated here

For each type style I have tried to edit from the style editor and any changes I make don't happen and are not shown in the styles themselves. I put in the text box you refer to because then new situation did not happen with those earlier placements of text.

Back to me I'm afraid, this is due to the fact that I'm still not as familiar with Publishjer yet. The reason was that the Character style seemed stuck on Hypertext. By Clicking on "No Style" in the The Character box, as was suggested to me by the first response, it sorted it out. Apologies to Lee D.
