Hey all, I have a photo that isn't composed the best and doesn't have much space to spare at the top. When I open the RAW file in Affinity, it seems to clip the edges on all 4 sides. Ex A is a screenshot of the original RAW photo and Ex B is what it looks like as soon as I open it in Affinity. I left on a little margin space for reference on both photos. I expand the canvas size, but nothing is there. The original photo is 4000x6000 pixels and the file in Affinity shows as 6016x4016. Any help is appreciated!

Turning off Lens Correction is normally the "solution" for this

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

Even if you turn off Lens Correction, or have it on, there's no thick border applied. Your bottom screenshot looks like you applied a border. Did you apply a Outline FX? It seems like a Center aligned or Inside Outline has been applied. If so, after expanding your Canvas, you should use Outside, that way it does not encroach on the image itself.

For borders instead of using the FX, after expanding an image where I don't have much margin, I'll place a rectangle behind the image. I have more control over that.
