DigitalVisuals
For users who are using Win 11, for me is the beta 1.10.5.1227 the best way to work under Windows 11. I can use it with OpenCL ON and don't have problems with freezes or hangs . There is a better system memory behavior. Regular 1.10.4 hangs on every minute when I use brushes in witch way, mostly it hangs on high memory use. And no OpenCL. Hans Latour
Recently purchased Photo and Designer and am running in a (too) frequently freezes of the programms... they just freeze/hang, no crash or error and when I remove the programm with tasks I can restart. I didn't know that Affinity doesn't (yet) runs on Windows 11. Where can I get the beta and is it safe to work with?

Hans Latour
Thanks for the links of the beta. But the problem is solved! By turing off the default active 'Hardware acceleration' the freezes are gone!

For what it's worth, I'm running release versions of all three Affinity programs on Windows 11 with Hardware acceleration turned on, and don't experience any issues.
