Hi all. I hope all are keeping well.

When I am using designer in the pixel persona I have no issues. When I am using the vector persona, in particular the brush. My software always goes "not responding" after only a few minutes.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled.

I have installed the drivers again as fresh installs.

I have turned the accelerator off.

Someone please help. It is really hindering my work for a client. Not only that but it is really ** :(

Hi Nick,

Thank you for the crash report I will pass it on to our QA team.
If possible could you provide a screenshot of the performance settings found within the apps preferences? This will allow me to investigate this further.

Thanks
C

I am also not able to get Affinity to even open up. Uninstalled and reinstalled, but still nothing. Can't do my work and it seems no one is answering this question. This started happening after the last update. It updated and then stopped responding. Can someone please feed back on this. It seems there is a conflict with windows.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

What happens when you try to run the program?

Are you getting any crash reports?

Have you tried the suggestions in the FAQ? These 2 are often good starting points:

or

But there are others that may be applicable, depending on exactly what you're seeing.

None of these apply. Black screen with "affinity not responding". No error messages, either stops working, then I have to restart my pc and hope it will start up again, or reinstall, which doesn't work anyway. The only third party on that list is Microsoft and they do tend to crash many systems often.

One monitor, or multiple monitors?
