Help with extending / recreating a photo

I am trying to extend / recreate this image so that it is higher than it is. So I need to create this part manually. But I have now idea where to start? Are there any videos of tools i should use to be able do draw this image to become higher?

Your question is a bit vague.

Do you just want to stretch (distort the image) so it is taller?

Or do you want to add/create new content at the top, like the example below?

Just like that image yes. create new content on top, to make it bigger. How did you do this? What tutorials should I look for?
