I have a text frame and I want to use a brush for the border (stroke).  For some reason, the border is not showing up as closed.  There is a little gap.  I've tried playing with a few settings to get it to close but haven't figured out a way to do so.  Any ideas?

Hi @Quadma,

Sorry to hear you're having trouble!

As confirmed by my colleague Sean in the above thread, this is an unfortunate side effect of strokes in Affinity having a 'head' and 'tail' applied, when using these brushes for strokes around objects.

This is logged with our developers as an improvement and therefore I will 'bump' this log for you now.

I hope this helps :)
