johnpdelacruz26
Hello I would like to propose a feature that would allow the user to switch between the orginal and the current adjustment of raw image in a faster way. I am aware of the syncing feature but there are times when it just takes a lot of steps to just view the orginal especially if you accidentaly synced the wrong adjustment. This new toggle button feature would just allow a quick way to switch from orginal. In a simple way, this is like a toggle button that disables all the effects/adjustments including the overlays. carl123
Not sure your request will receive any priority development time as there are already two ways to do as you want, which I will mention here just in case you (or others) are unaware of them 1. The history panel has a slider which can quickly scrub to the beginning (unedited version of your file) and back again, or if you click anywhere on the slider this then activates the "Home" and "End" keys (Windows) which when pressed takes you to the beginning and end of the History with a single key press respectively (not a lot of people know that) 2. A snapshot of your unedited Raw file is taken automatically when you first open your file. You can take another at any point in your edits then toggle between the two with a single click in the Snapshots Panel. Snapshots are particularly useful when you want to try different settings/edits to your Raw file and quickly switch between, 2,3,4,5...etc different versions to see which one you like best and then choose to develop that version. Yeah, took me a few years to discover those "secret" commands in that panel. Might be a good idea if Serif added them into the help file. I assume Macs have them as well Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum.
