Face-Aware Liquify in Affinity Photo

Recommended Posts

Dear Serif Team, as you will know the current Photoshop version features Face-Aware Liquify, a function that can automatically detect faces and face details. This allows to change eye distance, eye size, mouth expression etc. Are you planning to bring such a feature to Affinity Photo (Desktop) in the future ...?

I hope they wouldn't waste  their resources for such toys .    Not until they manage to turn Photo into modern Image editor with non-destructive workflow  with decent UX ,fully scriptable , hotkeys driven ,  flexible and easy to use . There are so many  much more important features on that way before  useless AI toys Photoshop seems so obsessed now.

But who knows perhaps it's where the future are so  soon  every image soft will be an Instagram companion tool  first before anything extra .

when editing alot of photos tools like this are amazing for speeding up the process along with making harder tasks easier for beginners.
would be cool if there was a batch face edit tool that recognised all the photos of a person in a folder and applied the changes to them all so you could go through a tweak from there really quickly. also add lighting on separate features, healing, color in the batch edit and it would really speed things up.
id also like to see the Body Position tool from photoshop in affinity some day.

haha kirk23 you sure brighten up a room.
having these features doesn't mean you have to use them.
the concept of it wasting there resources is an bad argument and a bad business model, if this increases there market share then it would gain them more resources. but I'm sure Instagram's only a tiny part of the market in 2023~ haha
