Don C Posted December 30, 2021 Share Posted December 30, 2021 I am not sure how to describe this problem, so my apologies if it has already been addressed somewhere. I tried searching but couldn't find anything. I have a new HP laptop, with Affinity Photo 1.10 installed, and when I try to make a curves adjustment, the image gets distorted as shown in the image below. GarryP Posted December 30, 2021 Share Posted December 30, 2021 It is often useful, when showing us a problem after something has been done and the result is unexpected, if you give us both the ‘before’ and ‘after’ so we can see what you started with in relation to what you got. Does it happen on other photos, or only on this one? Don C Posted December 30, 2021 Author Share Posted December 30, 2021 It happens on every photo. Weird thing too is it only happens with normal blend mode. Other blend modes like 'Lighten' have no issues. I will attach one of my own original photos that this happens with (the one of the girl was from a lesson I was taking.) Go into Edit > Preferences > Performance and switch off Hardware Acceleration if it's on It does some weird stuff sometimes Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum.
