mike1art
Hello all, I was wondering which brush do you recommend for drawing the smoothest and most solid lineart in Affinity Photo? Particularly the outline around solid color or cell shading. Thanks in advance.
GarryP
Welcome to the forums @mike1art Your question would have been better asked in the appropriate “Questions” section of the forums rather than the “Share your work” section as the “Share your work” section is for people to display the things they have created with the software, rather than ask questions. A moderator will probably move this thread for you. mike1art

You can create your own brushes, e.g. a square one for 90 degree sharp corners. But all depends on your interpretation of smooth and solid. There are endless discussions what smooth means when dealing with pixel art, anti-aliasing, etc. Could you provide examples? As Garry predicted, a moderator had moved it already by the time you replied, so now you have a kind of duplicate question (except that you phrased it differently over there) Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
