etanr
Loving Affinity Designer. Looking forward to it's growing. One thing I am missing is... in pixel editing, there is a behavior that exists in all editors I know since MacPaint... which is if you made a selection and move it while holding down a modifier key (usually the alt/option), a copy of that selected bitmap is moved rather than the original (leaving a hole in the original). You can see this in action in Photoshop, Fireworks, and basically any bitmap editor you can lay hands on. I would very much like that behavior to exist in Affinity as many small corrections in bitmaps are done that way. Thanks Etan GRScott
Staff TonyB Posted October 5, 2014 Staff Share Posted October 5, 2014 This was working at one point but it looks like it was broken when we moved some of the modifiers around. We will fix it. GRScott
japtor
Was it working with the vector side as well for making a copy (or copies) of objects while nudging? I remember being able to do that way back and missed it pretty quickly once I started doing something in Designer.

etanr
Any news on this? It is really annoying in its absence. Etan
