Been through the Hyperlinks panel, everything checks out, even the "go to target" button. and in the resulting .pdf, the hyperlink formatting is there. But the link is non-operative.

Maybe one wrinkle is that after setting the character style to hyperlink in the Properties sub-panel, I then have to change the font to my "Body" style. (It's hard to imagine that keeping the hyperlink character style would be illegal.)

TIA

If you were Exporting this have an option to include the Hyperlinks in the PDF, using the More part of the Export dialog. That option defaults to off when you create a document export a PDF "for print" or "press-ready" as Hyperlinks don't make sense in a printed document.

Perhaps the same idea applies when you print to PDF, and the Hyperlinks are disabled there.

You might try using Export instead, and making sure the option is enabled.

Bingo!!!   Do I really have to do this for each export or is there a way to set it permanently for this newsletter?

BTW, how do reduce the leading in your signature? I don't see a button for that in the Sig Edit window.

TIA

I think it is a line break, I could be wrong, I'm not going to check. Shift Return instead of just Return.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.5.7 | Affinity Photo 2.5.7 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.7 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

It's a function of how you Export the document.

The PDF (for print) and PDF (Press-Ready) Export Presets have hyperlinks disabled. The other PDF Presets have it on.

You could use one of the other PDF Export Presets, or make your own.
